OUR STORY \welcome TO DOTTY FISH
Hello, and thank you for visiting our Dotty Fish page. My name is Helen Chapman, and as a mother of two children, I am all too aware of how challenging it can be to find baby shoes that not only have a cute design, but also are not only functional, but also do not fall off, and are priced affordably. We have endeavored to design a collection of leather baby shoes and accessories that are both fashionable and accessible, and we hope that we have been successful in doing so.
It was in January of 2006 that everything got started. At the time, my son Josh had not yet turned one, and he had just been given a present of a pair of baby shoes that were rather pricey. I was interested in buying some more, but I couldn’t locate anything at a price that was within my budget. I made the decision to do some investigation into the possibility of developing a shoe that is available at a lower cost. This led to the creation of my first line of infant shoes, which I called Shimmy Shoes. They quickly gained a large following and continued to thrive in their field. In July 2009, when times were difficult for everyone, I made the decision to launch a recession-friendly shoe line. Along with the launch of a new website, the “My Twinkle Toes” selection of shoes was shown to the public. As part of the ITV program “Tonight,” the successful online company “My Twinkle Toes” was highlighted as a case study for other online ventures to emulate. Since then, we have continued to grow and have introduced an increasing number of designs—all offered at reasonable prices—to ensure that there is something for each and every customer. As we are also always working on introducing new lines to our collection, we made the decision to rebrand ourselves and change our name to “Dotty Fish Leather Baby Shoes and Bibs and Bobs.”
LOVELY SHOES FOR LITTLE FEET
One of the things that we are most passionate about doing here at Dotty Fish is developing gorgeous shoes for tiny feet that enable for them to grow in a natural way. As a part of this, we have been working very hard to create a shoe that is suitable for the next stage. Even though I am always focused on the future, I will always have wonderful memories of the early days of Shimmy Shoes, when I worked from the comfort of my own home despite having two young children running about. We came to the conclusion that this first walker shoe, despite the fact that it would fit in very well with the Dotty Fish branding, needed its own name. As a result, Shimmy Shoes have been reborn in the form of a rubber soled first walker leather shoe, which is ideal for growing feet that are exploring their world both indoors and outdoors.
Our goal is to continue to provide you, the parents out there, with goods that are not only economical but also enjoyable and trendy for your children.

PODIATRY TESTED
In order to evaluate the safety of soft-soled shoes for infants and toddlers, we at Dotty Fish have partnered with The London Podiatry Centre. The outcomes have been quite promising, and the purpose of this movie is to re-educate parents on the growth of their infant’s feet as well as the appropriate footwear that should be worn throughout those formative years.
CRAFTED WITH CARE SHOES
At Dotty Fish, we utilize natural, supple leather to make all of our infant and toddler footwear. They are appropriate for infants as young as one month old and as elderly as four years old. Shimmy Shoes, our next-stage initial walking shoes, are soft and flexible yet feature a rubber outsole that resists slipping. The traditional designs of Shimmy Shoes make them the ultimate party shoes, suitable for both regular use and special events.
Due to the unpredictability of the weather, it is essential to have footwear that can keep feet cool in summer and warm in winter. Our baby-safe, breathable leather is ideal for this. We provide a variety of designs, and our sandals offer even more ventilation to those small feet. And for the coldest days, we offer suede slippers insulated with fleece. These slippers are incredibly toasty and feature a suede sole that prevents slipping.
SAFETY FIRST
Safety is our first priority at Dotty Fish, and all of our shoes are created with the protection of small feet in mind. The leather we use is suitable for infants, chrome-free, and chemical-free. Excellent news for parents concerned about what their infants consume. We inspect the quality of each shoe to guarantee that the stitching is secure.
Our soft-soled leather shoes are packaged in an organza bag, whilst our rubber-soled Shimmy Shoes are sent in a beautiful shoe box with a ribbon handle. Both are wonderful presents! We also have a variety of matching bibs, leggings, and socks. These may be purchased individually or as part of a gift box, which removes the guesswork from picking a present.
TAKING CARE OF YOUR SHOES
All of our infant and toddler footwear is made of leather; thus, please do not wash them in the washing machine. Cleaning our shoes need not be a scary process; in fact, it’s fairly easy!
